BRAND STORY

Three Decades,
One Technology

Founded in Guangzhou in 1993, we have dedicated three decades to the research and commercialization of aeroponic cultivation. Our core technical team is composed of professors from South China Agricultural University and Hainan University, with proven expertise in tropical, subtropical, and semi-arid environments. We are not equipment resellers — we are the originators of proprietary IP, carried forward by three generations of agronomists.

BRAND STORY

The Birth of RORIDA
An Agricultural Legacy from Guangzhou to the Middle East

RORIDA was born from a conviction: that true agricultural technology must be able to grow in the most unforgiving of soils. In 1993, our founding team began researching aeroponic cultivation in Guangzhou, at a pivotal moment of transformation for Chinese agriculture.

Over three decades, we never pivoted, never diversified. We did one thing — enabling plants to grow without soil, with minimal water, at maximum efficiency. This technology, which we call Aeroponics, is the core of RORIDA and the foundation of our expansion into the Middle East.

Today, RORIDA turns its gaze to the Middle East and North Africa. The deserts of Saudi Arabia and the arid plains of Egypt are precisely where our technology needs to be proven. We are not here to sell equipment — we are here to co-author a chapter in agricultural history.

"Three decades. One purpose. Plants growing in the desert."

CORE CAPABILITY · DESALINATION

Transforming Seawater into
the Lifeblood of Agriculture

The Middle East faces an acute freshwater crisis. Seawater desalination is the foundational solution. RORIDA deeply integrates desalination technology with its aeroponic cultivation systems, building a complete closed loop from seawater to harvest — delivering sustainable agricultural water solutions for coastal desert regions.

Solar-Powered Feasibility

01

Reverse Osmosis Membrane System

High-efficiency RO membrane technology reduces seawater salinity from 35,000 ppm to below agricultural irrigation standards. Water recovery rates are 40% higher than traditional distillation, with 35% lower energy consumption — fully scaled for large-scale agricultural production.

02

Agricultural-Grade Water Refinement

Beyond standard desalination, we further adjust mineral composition and EC values to precisely match the nutrient solution requirements of aeroponic systems — achieving an integrated transformation from raw seawater to premium cultivation-ready solution.

03

Solar-Powered Closed Loop

Leveraging the Middle East's abundant solar resources, photovoltaic power drives both desalination and cultivation systems, enabling near-zero-carbon agricultural production — fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030's green development objectives.

CORE CAPABILITY · SOIL IMPROVEMENT

Restoring Life to
Desert Lands

Vast tracts of Middle Eastern land are rendered uncultivable by salinization, desertification, and near-total absence of organic matter. RORIDA's soil improvement system — combining microbial remediation, organic matter supplementation, and physical structure reconstruction — progressively transforms barren land into productive agricultural soil, laying the foundation for large-scale aeroponic deployment.

01

Saline Soil Desalination & Remediation

A combined approach of physical leaching, chemical amendment application, and pioneer salt-tolerant planting systematically reduces soil salinity — bringing EC values from non-arable levels (>8 dS/m) down to cultivable ranges (<2 dS/m) within a 12–24 month remediation cycle.

02

Microbial Community Reconstruction

Introducing selected native drought-tolerant nitrogen-fixing bacteria, phosphate-solubilizing bacteria, and mycorrhizal fungi rebuilds the soil microbiome — significantly increasing organic matter content and nutrient cycling efficiency, creating a favorable biological environment for crop root establishment.

03

Rapid Organic Matter Supplementation

Plant residues from aeroponic cultivation are processed through high-temperature aerobic composting and returned to the land, creating an internal resource loop. This delivers over 15 tonnes of organic matter per hectare annually, accelerating soil maturation.

TECHNOLOGY

Aeroponic Cultivation:
Engineered for a Water-Constrained World

01

Root-Zone Misting System

High-pressure nozzles atomize nutrient solution into 5–50 micron droplets delivered directly to suspended root systems, maximizing nutrient uptake while reducing water consumption to under 10% of soil cultivation.

02

Closed-Loop Water Recycling

A fully enclosed recirculation system recovers, filters, and reuses unabsorbed nutrient solution, enabling zero-discharge operations fully compliant with the stringent water management regulations of the Middle East.

03

Climate-Adaptive Control

Control algorithms trained on three decades of tropical and semi-arid cultivation data automatically adjust temperature, humidity, light, and misting frequency to accommodate the extreme climates of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
